ASSEMBLAGE ART

Assemblage Art is a process of taking found and discarded objects and turn them into unique works of art.  In doing assemblage you must master how to join objects from an engineering level as well as making them appear to be a cohesive piece of art through painting techniques.  Some visions can become quite a challenge in solving the problem of making these random pieces of junk come together.

I have always been a collector of odd objects so this type of mixed media art spoke to me on a very visceral level.  My hope is to invite you to see things from a different perspective and to tap into your imagination
